Hello! I’m really glad you’ve come to this page so I can tell you a bit about myself.

My name is Liz Anelli and I am an author/illustrator. I was born in Essex, England and have been scribbling away since I could first hold a pencil. I began by drawing endless stories horses, whilst lying on the dining-room carpet. Now I generally draw sat at a desk – but I am sometimes up a tall tower, in a field or sitting on a bus. I am mad keen on collecting stuff and have dozens of sketchbooks full of drawings, signs, tickets, ice cream wrappers, bus routes and jotted down bits of conversation.

Please take a look around my site, and discover some of my illustrations for books, magazines, maps and websites. Check out my ‘How To Do’ feature at The Guardian newspaper
